Recall Workshop

New Course: Canine Body Language Course

Sunday 27th September 2026
Time: 1:00 to 4:30pm
Where: In my garden in Petts Wood
Cost: £60 (1/2 price for under 16s. Take £10 off each person if from the same household.)
Dog are not invited on this course.

I am very excited that Gemma from Assisi Animal Transport and Training (based in Dorset) is running another course in Petts Wood.

Gemma is an experienced dog trainer, behaviour specialist and certified animal transportation professional. She is incredibly passionate about animals (especially dogs), which led her to start her own business, comprising of two parts; professional animal transportation and dog training and behaviour services. Gemma's life goal is to support as many animals as I can with my specialist skills. So this will be an excellent course!

Trick training

Trick training is a lot of fun that you and your dog can enjoy together. It is confidence building activity for you dog. Your dog will love performing and getting claps, praise and treats for being so clever! It is also useful if your dog is nervous going somewhere new or meeting new people. Get them to perform some tricks and if will help them to be relaxed.

Scent Training Workshop

Sunday 27th September 2026

8 - 11 am

Andrews Wood near Polhill

£75 (including a goodie bag with a start scent work kit)

This is an introduction to scent, workshop. Please be aware that your dog will be resting in the car at various points to give them time to process. (We will never be too far from the cars). As part of the workshop you will be preparing and hiding the scent articles for your dogs to find. So you are confident to practice at home and on your walks.
